Position Summary Our Deloitte Finance Transformation team practices to help chief financial officers, controllers, and finance teams define and execute their finance and global business services agendas and strategies. You will work with leading-class teams and solutions, helping clients navigate challenging environments, market uncertainty, technology development, and regulatory considerations to unlock value. Your work may span strategy, operations, process design, and technology as we partner with clients to transform finance. Work You’ll Do As a Project Senior Consultant, Financial Data Support you will: Supporting financial operations for sensitive programs within an enterprise resource planning (ERP) environmentManaging data extracts used to track funding, commitments, obligations, expenditures, and execution metricsExecuting procure-to-pay activities, including purchase requests, obligation loading, and payment analysisProducing reports and analyses aligned to Office of Secretary of War (OSW) goals, targets, and program execution needsProviding process guidance, financial solutions, and reconciliation support to program offices and other business users A successful candidate would possess these skills:Ability to work independently and collaborate as part of a teamEffective written and verbal communication skillsMeticulous attention to detail and quality of work productAbility to build and sustain professional relationshipsAbility to lead projects or workstreamsAbility to manage and prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced and dynamic environmentStrong interpersonal skills and professional demeanorAbility to meet deadlinesAbility to provide clear guidance to others The Team Deloitte’s Government & Public Services (GPS) practice – our people, ideas, technology and outcomes – is designed for impact. Qualifications Required: Bachelor’s degreeMust be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the futureActive Top Secret security clearance with eligibility for upgrade to Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) access with polygraph5+ years of experience in finance, accounting, or financial management roles5+ years of experience using enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems in finance and accounting operations5+ years of experience with financial processes, regulations, and audit requirements in the defense space including: procure-to-pay processes, including purchase requests, obligations, and payment analysisAbility to work on-site in Huntsville, Alabama, up to 3 days per week Preferred: Experience supporting sensitive programs in a finance or accounting environmentExperience managing data extracts for funding, commitments, obligations, and expendituresExperience analyzing execution metrics against defense goals and targetsExperience monitoring financial execution and budgetary dataExperience supporting planning, programming, execution, and reconciliation activitiesExperience providing business process recommendations to finance and accounting users Deloitte is committed to providing reasonable accommodations for people with disabilities.
