As an Armed Security Officer at a financial institution location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, support access control, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $23.90 / Hour Job Schedule: Wed 08:00 AM - 04:00 PM Thur 08:00 AM - 04:00 PM Fri 12:00 PM - 12:00 AM Sat 12:00 PM - 12:00 AM What You'll Do: Provide customer service to clients, employees, and visitors while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities at a financial services location. Conduct regular and random armed patrols of interior areas, exterior grounds, parking areas, and the perimeter to help identify unusual activity and security-related concerns. Respond to incidents, alarms, access-control issues, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established post orders. Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify authorization as directed, and report security-related observations to appropriate personnel. Maintain required reports and documentation, and handle assigned equipment in accordance with training, licensing requirements, and site procedures. Minimum Requirements: Possess a valid concealed carry weapons permit. Access control and badge experience is preferred. Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred. Customer service experience is preferred. CPR and First Aid certification is preferred. Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
