Job Summary In this role, you will support employees during moments that matter most—health decisions, family needs, and life transitions—by ensuring benefits and leave programs are accurate, compliant, and easy to understand. Your work will reduce organizational risk, strengthen trust in HR systems, and create confidence for employees and leaders alike. The Senior HR Generalist – Benefits, Leave & Compliance is responsible for the administration and integrity of employee benefit programs, 401(k) administration, and leave management. This role ensures that employees experience benefits and leave processes with clarity, consistency, and care—while maintaining strict compliance with federal and state regulations. Key Responsibilities This role leads systems, integrity, and experience—ensuring that benefits and leave programs operate accurately behind the scenes. You Will… Own the administration and integrity of employee benefit programs, including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, and other employer-sponsored plans Serve as a trusted subject‑matter expert for benefits, leave, and retirement programs—guiding employees with clarity and care Lead the operational execution of Annual Open Enrollment, including system configuration, vendor coordination, employee communications, and post‑enrollment audits Administer the company’s 401(k) plan, ensuring accurate eligibility, contributions, distributions, compliance, and audit readiness Manage end‑to‑end leave administration (FMLA, STD, LTD, parental, and personal leaves), ensuring compliance while providing steady, empathetic support Partner closely with payroll, vendors, brokers, and HR leadership to ensure data accuracy, compliance, and seamless employee experiences Maintain audit‑ready documentation and reporting across benefits, retirement, and leave programs Qualifications Required Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or equivalent experience 5+ years of progressive HR experience with a strong focus on benefits, leave administration, and compliance Hands‑on experience with ADP Workforce Now, including benefits administration, leave tracking, employee data maintenance, and reporting Working knowledge of FMLA, ERISA, ACA, and applicable state leave laws Experience administering employee benefit programs and 401(k) plans High attention to detail, sound judgment, and discretion with sensitive information Preferred HR certification (PHR, SHRM‑CP, or similar) Physical Requirements Ability to sit for extended periods of time at a desk and working on a computer Ability to communicate effectively in person, over the phone, or via virtual meeting Ability to maintain focus in a typical office environment with moderate noise levels Ability to perform repetitive motions with hands and arms, such as typing Comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, quarterly bonuses, 401k and paid time off Allia Health Groupis unable to offer visa sponsorship at this time.
