THE ROLE Gemline is looking for an Associate Marketing Manager to help strengthen the connection between marketing, sales and our distributor customers. This role is responsible for the development of sales enablement tools & programs, the execution of trade shows, and marketing initiatives that equip the Sales team to service our distributors and equip those distributors to sell Gemline products and services to their end customers. With guidance from the Marketing Communications Senior Manager, this position adapts approved campaign creative, messaging and content and creates customer tools, sales presentations, flyers, lookbooks, product displays and other revenue-supporting initiatives. The role also leads the coordination and execution of Gemline’s trade show presence.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Serve as the primary Marketing liaison for the Sales team, gathering, prioritizing and translating sales and customer needs into clearly defined marketing deliverables. Stay closely aligned with the Marketing Communications Senior Manager on campaign calendars, product launches, promotional priorities, core messaging and approved creative assets. Develop and update customer-facing presentations, product recommendations, flyers, lookbooks, campaign materials and other tools that support the sales process. Create tailored product display concepts and merchandising recommendations for customer meetings, events and presentations. Identify gaps in existing sales tools and recommend new resources that can help Sales communicate Gemline’s product, brand and service stories more effectively. Gather feedback from the Sales team and use it to improve the usefulness, relevance and adoption of sales enablement materials. Content Activation & Asset Management Own the production, customization, coordination and ongoing maintenance of sales enablement materials on external customer and industry sites. Create, maintain and update industry and customer platform content, including current flyers, lookbooks, product information and other available sales resources. Ensure customer-specific and sales-facing materials remain accurate and current as products, inventory, programs and business priorities change. Organize sales tools and assets so they are easy for the Sales team to locate, understand and use. Train sales team as needed on these tools. Trade Shows & Events Own the end-to-end planning and execution of industry trade shows, including booth design, logistics, staffing, product merchandising and vendor coordination. Partner with Product Management, Sales and Marketing to determine show objectives, featured products, messaging and display priorities. Guide the Sales team on customer-facing shows and events, including recommendations and examples for effective product presentation and merchandising. Evaluate show performance and identify opportunities to improve future event strategy and execution. Team & Cross-Functional Leadership Build strong working relationships across Sales, Product, Marketing Communications, Creative and other cross-functional teams. Establish clear intake, prioritization and project-management processes for sales enablement requests. Balance immediate Sales needs with broader Marketing priorities, timelines and resources. Manage, coach and develop one direct report, establishing clear responsibilities, goals and performance expectations. Additional tasks and deliverables as assigned by management. REQUIREMENTS 5+ years of experience in marketing, sales enablement, event management or a related discipline, ideally within a B2B or promotional products environment. Experience managing large-scale trade show logistics from initial planning through on-site execution. Experience adapting marketing campaigns and creative assets for sales teams, customer segments or key accounts. Strong presentation development, project management and content production skills. Ability to translate Sales and Distributor Customer needs into clear, actionable marketing deliverables. Strong understanding of adhering to brand standards and the ability to customize materials without compromising established messaging or visual standards. Comfortable working cross-functionally with Sales, Marketing, Product and Creative teams. People-management experience, including responsibility for at least one direct report. Highly organized, detail-oriented and deadline-driven, with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
