Patient Access RepresentativeImmediate need for a Patient Access Representative. This is a 13-Week Contract opportunity with long-term potential and is located in Pomona, CA (Onsite). Employee benefits include, but are not limited to, health insurance (medical, dental, vision), 401(k) plan, and paid sick leave (depending on work location).Key Responsibilities:Interview patients and collect accurate demographic and insurance informationEnter and update patient information in the computer systemEstablish and maintain patient records, including demographic, financial, and insurance allocation informationIdentify and enter appropriate insurance codesObtain required patient consents and authorizationsVerify and process insurance and financial information accuratelyAnswer incoming phone calls and provide professional customer serviceCoordinate with department scheduling staff to meet patient scheduling needsMaintain confidentiality and accuracy when handling patient informationPerform other related duties as assignedKey Requirements and Technology Experience:Must have; Patient Registration / Patient AdmittingInsurance Verification & AuthorizationEMR/EHR & Data EntryCustomer Service & Communication1–2 years of registration, admitting, or clerical experience, preferably in a healthcare environment.Strong computer and data-entry skills.Effective verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.Ability to interact professionally with patients, families, and healthcare staffEducation: High School Diploma or GEDOur client is a leading IT Industry and we are currently interviewing to fill this and other similar contract positions.
