Job Description

The Registered Nurse (RN) - ICU will be responsible for providing critical care to patients in the Intensive Care Unit. This nurse will work as part of a dedicated healthcare team focused on delivering exceptional patient care and improving clinical outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and assess patient health conditions and provide care as necessary.
• Administer medications and treatments as per the physician's orders.
• Coordinate with healthcare teams to deliver comprehensive care to each patient.
• Provide support and education to patients and their families.
• Utilize advanced medical technologies and equipment to aid in patient care.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Must possess an active Texas RN license (temporary licenses are not accepted).
• Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience, preferably in an ICU setting.
• Current ACLS and BLS certifications are required.
• Experience with vasopressors is required.
• NIHSS certification is mandatory.
• Meditech experience is preferred.
