Litigation Associate Attorney for AI Training

Use your litigation and high-stakes transactional experience to review, draft, and critique legal materials that train next-generation AI systems. In this contractor role you will apply M&A, private equity, capital markets, contract drafting, and data privacy expertise to create precise, real-world training inputs and structured feedback that improve how legal tasks are handled by AI.

• Review and analyze complex litigation and transactional documents, including contracts arising from M&A, private equity, and capital markets deals.
• Draft sample agreements and legal clauses informed by experience with high-value M&A transactions and private equity matters.
• Evaluate legal scenarios and provide structured, actionable commentary to inform AI model development, including on data privacy and cross-border transactions.
• Collaborate remotely with interdisciplinary teams to ensure legal accuracy in simulated legal tasks and scenarios.
• Contribute to the design and refinement of legal frameworks and decision rubrics, and participate in iterative feedback cycles to improve training data quality and practical applicability.

• Juris Doctor from a US law school.
• Active bar admission in good standing in the United States.
• Experience at an AmLaw 100 firm or similarly prestigious law firm, with work on litigation and complex transactional matters.
• Demonstrated expertise in M&A, private equity, capital markets, contract drafting, and data privacy.
• Excellent written communication and the ability to explain sophisticated legal reasoning for varied audiences.
• Proven success collaborating remotely and working within multidisciplinary teams.
• Familiarity with developing or applying structured review rubrics is desirable but not required.
• Strong research, analytical, and problem solving skills, with attention to detail in high-stakes legal contexts.
• No prior AI experience is required; domain expertise is the primary qualification.

• Engagement type: Independent contractor role supporting a customer project.

Hourly pay range: $140 to $400 per hour.

• Must hold a JD from a US law school and be admitted and in good standing to a United States bar.
• Prior experience at a top-tier law firm, such as an AmLaw 100 firm, is expected.
