About the Position

Job Title

Travel Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) – Night Shift

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | 13 Weeks | Night Shift (6:30 PM – 7:00 AM) | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide respiratory therapy services across adult, NICU, and pediatric service lines within a large acute care hospital setting
• Operate and manage ventilators and respiratory equipment including GE R860 adult vents, Draeger infant/pediatric vents, Newport HT70 transport vent, V60 non-invasive devices, and Vapotherm/Comfort Flow high-flow oxygen devices
• Document patient care and clinical data using the Cerner EMR system
• Float to all critical care units and floor assignments as needed
• Maintain expected weekend coverage of at least 4 weekend shifts per 6-week schedule
• Adhere to department dress code (medium gray/pewter scrubs)

Required Qualifications

• Active North Carolina Respiratory Therapy License required
• RRT (Registered Respiratory Therapist) credential required — CRTs will not be considered
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required
• Minimum 2 years of respiratory therapy experience

Preferred Experience / Skills

• NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification
• Experience working in NICU or pediatric respiratory care settings
• Familiarity with Cerner EMR
