Description
Chief Duties and Responsibilities: The following are the usual major job duties and represent a multi skilled requirement to effectively interact with customers, vendors, management, customer service, and warehouse personnel.
- Verify and update the daily processing of financial transactions to ensure that municipal finances are maintained in an efficient, up to date, and accurate manner.
- Prepare, verify, and process daily customer invoices including drop shipments.
- Help manage customer sales tax exemptions forms.
- Set up all customers for e-mail invoicing and ACH payments.
- Maintain all accounting files.
- Send references for new credit applications and set-up new customer accounts.
- Provide support on Collections efforts.
- Process credit card transactions.
- Assist with upcoming accounting projects.
- Process all claims submitted for customer credit memos on account.
- Mail monthly statements.
- Detail-oriented and organized.
- Develop and maintain a good working relationship with all personnel.
- May require heavy lifting.
- Maintain a clean, orderly, safe work area, and perform other work as directed.
