Job Description Job Description Prepare and clean exam rooms before and after every patient visit.
Sterilize and arrange dental tools and equipment.
Assist dentists chairside by passing instruments and using suction.
Take and process dental X-rays.
Take tooth impressions and make temporary crowns.
Help patients feel comfortable and explain post-treatment care
Interpersonal skills: Friendly and comforting attitude to ease patient anxiety.
Attention to detail: Careful adherence to safety and hygiene protocols.
Technical ability: Skill in handling dental tools and operating software.
Education: High school diploma plus completion of an accredited dental assistant program or on-the-job training.
Certification: State-specific x-ray or dental assisting credentials via the Dental Assisting National Board as required by local laws
