Job Qualifications: Working Experience: At least two (2) years of experience in dental assisting preferred. Software Proficiency: Familiarity with Dentrix or other dental software systems is advantageous. Effective Communication: Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with patients and team members. Strong Interpersonal Skills: Demonstrate strong interpersonal and communication skills to build positive relationships. Job Responsibilities: Chairside Assistance: Provide expert support during dental procedures, anticipating the dentist's needs and ensuring patient comfort. Infection Control: Sterilize and disinfect instruments and equipment in accordance with infection control protocols. Patient Records: Maintain accurate patient records, including medical history and treatment details, in compliance with HIPAA regulations. Polishing Assistance: Support the dentist during the polishing process to enhance patient comfort and safety. Patient Communication: Explain procedures to patients and address any concerns effectively. Treatment Environment: Ensure a clean and organized treatment area, restocking supplies and equipment as needed.
