Pay Rate : $60-70/Hr on W2


Job Description :
We are seeking Lead Java Developers for a contract opportunity with Capital One . This role is ideal for developers with a strong background in Java , Spring Framework , and API development . Preference will be given to candidates with prior Capital One experience, but a solid understanding of the banking domain is also acceptable. Key Responsibilities :

• Lead the backend development of robust Java-based applications.
• Utilize Java Standard and Enterprise Edition for enterprise-level solutions.
• Develop and maintain RESTful APIs and Web Services .
• Apply test-driven development (TDD) and work with automated testing frameworks .
• Leverage AWS Cloud services for deployment and scaling.
• Collaborate in an Agile/Scrum environment to ensure project success.

Required Skills :

• Minimum of 5 years of experience with Java Standard and Enterprise Edition .
• At least 3 years of experience with the Spring Framework .
• At least 3 years of experience with API development and REST Web Services .
• At least 2 years of experience with test-driven development and automated testing frameworks .
• Experience with AWS Cloud services.
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Strong communication and self-motivation.

Preferred Qualifications :

• Experience with web UI frameworks such as Angular or ReactJS .
• Familiarity with Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery pipelines (CI/CD).
