Specialty Representative/Senior Specialty Representative -Primary Care - Richmond S, VA

Amgen seeks a Specialty Representative or Senior Specialty Representative to serve the Richmond, Virginia territory, promoting pharmaceutical products to medical professionals and managing customer relationships. The role combines clinical knowledge communication with sales execution and account management across primary care.

Responsibilities

• Deliver clinical product knowledge and communicate benefits to medical professionals to drive appropriate product utilization
• Execute sales strategy through branded messaging, educational programs, and virtual/in-person engagement to achieve territory targets
• Build and manage customer relationships by customizing interactions, ensuring product access, resolving reimbursement issues, and maintaining contracts
• Analyze sales effectiveness, provide market feedback, and develop territory plans in collaboration with District Manager
• Demonstrate commitment to patient outcomes while upholding Amgen company values and contributing to team success

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree, or Associate's degree with 4+ years sales experience, or high school diploma with 6+ years sales experience
• Pharmaceutical, biotech, diagnostics, or healthcare industry sales experience preferred
• Advanced relationship-building and sales execution skills with demonstrated results orientation

Compensation: $89,880–$121,600 base annual
