Lead HVAC Service Technician

Job Description Description: \n Classic Air is seeking an experienced Lead HVAC Service Technician to join our growing team. In this role, you will be responsible for diagnosing, servicing, repairing, and maintaining commercial HVAC systems while providing exceptional customer service and technical leadership in the field. \n \n What We Offer: \n \n Competitive hourly rate based on experience \n Medical, Dental, Vision plans \n Basic Life Insurance \n Short- and Long-Term Disability \n 401k Match \n Paid Holidays \n Paid Time off \n \n \n What You’ll Do: \n \n Service, diagnose, install, maintain, and repair commercial HVAC systems and equipment \n Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and control-related HVAC issues \n Perform preventative maintenance and system inspections \n Ensure all work is completed safely, efficiently, and in compliance with company standards \n Participate in company-provided training on emerging technologies and industry best practices \n Maintain accurate service records, work orders, and time reporting \n Operate and maintain company vehicles, tools, and equipment in good working condition \n Communicate professionally with customers regarding system issues, recommendations, and solutions \n Support and mentor junior technicians as needed \n Collaborate with team members to deliver exceptional customer service and project success \n \n \n What You’ll Bring: \n \n HVAC trade school certification or equivalent field experience \n Minimum of 10 years of commercial HVAC service experience \n Extensive experience troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining commercial HVAC equipment \n EPA Certification (Type III or Universal required) \n Strong knowledge of HVAC controls, refrigeration systems, air distribution systems, and related equipment \n Excellent diagnostic and problem-solving abilities \n Strong customer service and communication skills \n Ability to work independently and make sound decisions in the field \n Valid driver's license with a clean driving record \n Ability to pass required pre-employment and ongoing drug screenings \n Strong commitment to safety and quality workmanship \n Performs other related duties as assigned \n \n \n Physical Requirements: \n \n Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds regularly \n Ability to safely move heavier equipment with assistance or proper lifting devices \n Comfortable working at heights, on ladders, rooftops, and in confined spaces \n Ability to work in varying weather conditions, including extreme heat and cold \n Frequent standing, walking, bending, kneeling, crawling, climbing, and reaching \n Physically capable of performing all duties associated with commercial HVAC service and repair \n \n \n Working with our Company: \n At Classic Air Conditioning & Heating, we bring over 50 years of expertise, integrity, and friendly service to every business and commercial property we serve.
