Registered Nurse - Inpatient Rehabilitation

This is a 13-week contract position.

Night Shift: 3x12-Hour (19:00 - 07:00)

The Registered Nurse in the Inpatient Rehabilitation unit is responsible for delivering high-quality nursing care to patients by assessing their needs and conditions. This role involves collaboration with an interdisciplinary care team to formulate comprehensive care plans tailored to individual patient requirements.

Responsibilities:

• Review patient needs and conditions to provide appropriate nursing care.
• Analyze medical history, diagnostic results, and current conditions to develop individualized care plans.
• Administer medications and treatments in accordance with nursing practices.
• Ensure accuracy and compliance of medical records with regulatory standards.
• Evaluate patient responses to interventions and adjust care plans as necessary.
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team for effective care planning.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• Associate's Degree in Nursing required; Bachelor's Degree preferred.
• Minimum of 1 year as a Registered Nurse required; experience in a clinical specialty preferred.
• Registered Nurse License in North Carolina or a compact state required.
• BLS (CPR) certification from American Red Cross or AHA Healthcare Provider required.
• Experience with Epic charting system is mandatory.
• All Registered Nurses must pass an EKG examination during compliance.
