Experienced Truck Driver (Class D, Class B, or Class A)

Job Description

· Operate company vehicles in a safe manner at all times to include driving within posted speed limits, maintaining a safe following distance and continually scanning the roadways for potential hazards

· Perform DOT-required pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and complete inspection reports

· Provide outstanding customer service during delivery and pickup operations

· Maintain valid driver’s license and medical card, if applicable

· Pre-plan delivery routes to insure timely delivery of freight

· Lift/Lower 70+ lbs. while pulling to/from

· Push/pull freight (70+ lbs. ) on pallet jacks, APCs, BINs, etc

· Climb into and out of vehicle

· Secure freight to avoid damage while in transit using straps and/or load bars

· Follow dispatch plans and directions

· Apply chains to wheels of tractor in bad weather

· Report all accidents and citations
