Because we believe that your career path should be as unique as you are.## ## ## **Group Summary:**The Magna Exteriors portfolio of products includes access systems such as liftgates, exterior trim, modular systems, front-end modules including fascia, active aerodynamic systems and other lightweight structural components for automotive, commercial truck and other industrial markets.Recognized globally as an innovator in all aspects of vehicle exteriors, Magna provides everything needed, from materials development and design through manufacturing and assembly, to help automakers create sleek, state-of-the-art vehicles across the world.**Job Responsibilities:**# Education:* High School degree or GED* Vocational Technical Training preferred**Skills and Experience:*** Minimum 3 months experience in fabrication* Experience with and safe-working knowledge of hand tools and power tools.* Ability to read a tape measure.* Ability to use cutting torch, plasma cutter, band saw, drills and all needed machines available to complete task at hand.* Ability to Weld using Mig, Tig, Stick, and Aluminum Spool Gun required# Physical Requirements:* This position requires a person to have the ability to perform work while standing, walking, or sitting for extended amounts of time.* Must be able to walk up and down stairs frequently.* Ability to lift up to15 pounds on a frequent basis and up to 40 pounds on an occasional basis is required.* Be able to work near alcohols, solvent, paints, or plastic sanding dust.* Work below the knees and above the shoulders will be required.* Good vision at a close distance and the ability to distinguish color is required with or without the use of corrective lenses.* This position requires the ability to hear alarms with or without the use of hearing aids.# Training Requirements:* You will receive training to perform your job on an on-going basis concurrent with Decostar business operations.
