About the Position

Job Title: Registered Nurse - Operating Room Profession: RN Specialty: Operating Room Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 06:30-17:00 Hours per Shift: 36 Experience: Minimum 2 years License: RN License required Certifications: None required; certification a plus Must-Have: - Ortho major joint experience - General surgery experience - Urology (open & cystoscopy) experience - Minor vascular experience; major vascular a plus Description: The facility has 13 operating rooms and maintains a patient ratio of 1:1. Staff includes Registered Nurses, surgical techs, support staff, and board runners. Equipment utilized includes Stryker Ortho Systems, Stryker lap towers, DIV Xi robots, Mako navigation, and Omni navigation. Documentation system in use is Meditech. Call shifts are 4-5 per 4 weeks with weekend rotation and a flexible schedule. If operating rooms are shut down, staff may float to assist in other areas, internal first. Must have experience in orthopedics with a focus on major joint procedures. All surgical cases are performed except for open heart, transplants, and eye surgeries. The dress code consists of scrubs provided by the facility. Candidates should demonstrate punctuality, dedication, teamwork, and positivity.
