PSO's may find themselves working in a wide range of areas to include medical centers, government facilities, hospitality venues and public events. Additionally PSOs may be asked to work with a firearm. The PSOs mission is to protect all people, information and property assigned, while delivering on high end customer service. Fingernail polish is allowed if it does not distract from the uniform.Physical Requirements / Working Conditions:Ability to work under stress / pressureAbility to lift 25 poundsAbility to wear a uniformAbility to pass Physical Agility Test (PAT) Consisting of:Run 100 meters in 66 seconds or less in Armed Security Officer designated uniform; followed by a 10 min break;Perform 30 push-ups (no time limit) followed by a 30 min break. If you rest during the push-ups, you must rest in the up position. Foam block will be in place for push up stop point.Perform 26 sit-ups (no time limit).
