SNIDER & DRACHLIS PLLC is seeking a motivated and detailed-oriented Associate Attorney to join the Business and Real Estates Transactions Group in our Garden City office.
The ideal candidate will have experience handling sophisticated commercial transactions, strong drafting and negotiation skills, and the ability to manage matters independently while working collaboratively with clients and colleagues.
Responsibilities
- Draft, review, and negotiate a broad range of commercial agreements and transactional documents
- Handle commercial and residential real estate transactions from contract through closing
- Conduct due diligence reviews, title and survey analysis, and prepare closing documents
- Advise clients on business formation, governance, acquisitions, financing, leasing, and operational matters
- Coordinate with lenders, brokers, title companies, and opposing counsel
- Manage client communications and provide practical legal guidance on transactional matters
- Support senior attorneys on complex business and real estate deals
Qualifications
- J.D. from an accredited law school
- Admission to the New York State Bar
- 2–5 years of experience in business and/or real estate transactional law
- Strong contract drafting and negotiation skills
- Experience handling commercial leases, purchase and sale agreements, and entity formation documents preferred
- Excellent organizational, analytical, and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple matters in a fast-paced environment
- Portable business is a plus, but not required
