Salary : $101,268.00 - $127,320.00 Annually Job Type : Full Time Location : 11110 Alondra Blvd., Norwalk, CA Closing : 7/14/2026 11:59 PM Pacific Position Title : Operations Manager Description Manages custodial and maintenance staff to ensure campus facilities are safe, clean, and operational. Provides administrative support to the Director of Physical Plant and Construction Services. Responsibilities Supervise, prioritize, assign, and review work of custodial and general maintenance staff. Develop and communicate work schedules, and ensure staff productivity through inspections and performance evaluation. Maintain equipment, supplies, and tools, and coordinate new technology implementations. Develop and monitor budgets, maximizing financial resources. Coordinate project teams for floor and heavy-cleaning operations. Prepare reports for the District, external agencies, and safety training programs. Serve as first point of contact for urgent facility matters and chair related committees. Qualifications Associate’s degree or equivalent + supervisory training. 3+ years of custodial or equivalent leadership experience. Understanding of state and federal regulations affecting campus facilities. Strong oral and written communication skills. Proficiency in budgeting and cost estimation. Preferred Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management or related field. Physical Abilities Office-based duties with occasional travel across campus and off-site locations. Ability to speak publicly and use visual aids. Manual dexterity for handling tools and standard office equipment. Flexible schedule including evenings and weekends. Licenses and Certificates Valid driver’s license. Valid first-aid card.
