Litigation Attorney

Job Overview Permanent Litigation Attorney position at a large nationwide full‑service law firm. Salary: $115,000–$170,000 per year. Responsibilities Represent clients in court or before government agencies, presenting evidence to defend or prosecute lawsuits. Manage all phases of the litigation process from investigation, pleadings, and discovery to pre‑trial, trial, settlement, and appeal. Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, opinions, and other legal documents. Conduct extensive legal research and analysis of laws, regulations, and legal articles to assist in case preparation. Gather evidence from interviews, legal research, and document review. Negotiate settlements on behalf of clients to avoid court proceedings. Provide expert legal advice to clients regarding their rights and obligations. Develop and maintain strong client relationships through excellent customer service. Collaborate with a team of legal professionals to develop case strategies. Stay updated on current legislation and legal developments relevant to the practice area. Qualifications Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school. Minimum five years of experience as a practicing attorney, specifically in labor and employment, plaintiff personal injury, and family law. Admission to the state bar in good standing. Strong litigation skills, including trial experience. Exceptional analytical skills and ability to construct viable solutions to complex legal problems. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly and persuasively. Strong interpersonal skills and ability to maintain professionalism under pressure and manage client relationships. Proven negotiation skills and a track record of favorable outcomes for clients. Ability to manage a large caseload and juggle multiple priorities and deadlines. Proficiency in legal research software and Microsoft Office Suite.
