We are seeking a Full-time or Part-time Dental Hygienist to join our team! We offer the flexibility to create a schedule that fits your lifestyle. If you’re a skilled hygienist looking for flexibility in your schedule and a supportive, welcoming team, we’d love to hear from you!
We are open Monday - Thursday from 8:00 am - 4:30 pm. Closed Friday-Sunday.
Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive dental cleanings (prophylaxis), scaling, and root planing as needed.
- Conduct oral health assessments and record medical and dental histories.
- Take and develop dental radiographs in accordance with state regulations.
- Screen patients for signs of oral diseases, including periodontal disease and oral cancer.
- Apply fluoride treatments, dental sealants, and other preventive therapies.
- Educate patients on oral hygiene techniques, nutrition, and preventive dental care.
- Assist dentists during examinations and procedures as needed.
- Document patient findings, treatment provided, and recommendations accurately in electronic health records.
Qualifications
- Current Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH) license in Minnesota is required
- At least 2 years of experience in a general or specialty dental practice is preferred
- Experience with digital radiography and periodontal therapy.
- Current CPR/BLS certification.
- Knowledge of dental hygiene procedures, infection control, and patient care standards.
- Proficiency with dental software and electronic health records preferred.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
