Job Description

• Non-Invasive Vent Management (bipap/cpap)
• Ventilation Management
• Chest Tube Insertion
• Central Line
• Arterial Line
• Suturing Minor Lacerations

Required of the APP

• Responding to the ED for Trauma Alerts
• Facilitating Discharges
• ER Admissions
• Daily rounding and management of all conditions- we do not use hospitalists. need to be fully able to be attending on all patient conditions

Submission Requirements

• Board Certified (ACNP, AGNP, PA-C) [REQUIRED]
• No FNPs, only Acute Care NP or PA [REQUIRED]
• MN License [REQUIRED] at time of name clear
• ATLS, PALS, ACLS [REQUIRED] Status required at name clear or will be redirected
• NOC shift 7p-730a [REQUIRED]
• Local Candidate [PREFERRED]
• DEA - Verbal Confirmation [REQUIRED] at time of name clear
• A Self-Query NPDB report is required at the time of presentation and must be pulled within the same month as the submission. [REQUIRED]
• Minimum 1 year of practice as an APP in the inpatient setting, optimally with trauma , ICU , and/or orthopedics. [REQUIRED]

Certification Requirements

State License Requirements

• Minnesota
