Physician - Radiology - Interventional

Job Details:

• Full-time, Board-Certified Interventional Radiologist (MD) position joining a 3-physician / 2-APP IR team
• Hospital-based practice setting with day-shift schedule
• Call schedule: Q3 call coverage - every third weekday and every third weekend
• Average of 8 cases per day
• Level I Trauma designation facility
• Patient population is primarily adult with frequent geriatric cases
• IR support staff includes a manager and two APPs supporting the interventional radiology team
• Required procedures include: angioplasty, stent placement, embolization, needle biopsy, thrombolysis, and uterine fibroid embolization (UFE)
• Additional cases include orthopedic, gynecological, and urology procedures
• Active Michigan state medical license required (IMLC or compact license not accepted)
• Board Certification in Interventional Radiology required
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Clean malpractice and license history highly preferred
• NPDB self-query required at time of presentation (must be pulled within 30 days)
