Building Operations Manager

A well-established, third-party logistics organization operating over one million square feet of warehouse space is expanding and seeking an experienced Building Manager to oversee operations at a newly launched facility in Edison, NJ. This senior leadership role reports directly to executive leadership. Position Summary The Building Manager will be responsible for the full scope of day-to-day facility operations, ensuring high levels of efficiency, service quality, and financial performance. The ideal candidate brings hands‑on leadership experience in a fast‑paced, multi‑client 3PL warehouse environment and thrives in a setting that demands operational excellence and accountability. Core Responsibilities Direct and oversee all warehouse operations within a multi-client 3PL environment Ensure service standards are met across multiple customer accounts Lead, mentor, and develop warehouse management and operational teams Drive performance metrics, process improvement, and operational efficiency Maintain strong financial oversight, including budget management and P&L responsibility Foster a culture of accountability, safety, and continuous improvement Qualifications Proven experience managing operations within a multi-client 3PL warehouse (non‑dedicated contract environments) Strong understanding of servicing multiple customers within a single distribution facility Demonstrated leadership experience in dynamic, high-volume distribution settings Solid financial acumen with meaningful exposure to P&L management Ability to balance operational execution with strategic oversight The company offers a competitive compensation package along with comprehensive benefits, including 401(k) participation.
