Healthcare Provider – Long Term Care

Schedule - Shift: 8 hour shifts, varied, including weekends and holidays. Flexibility required; no guarantee of hours or shift preference.

Assignment Details - Contract Length: 13 weeks - Guaranteed Hours: Not specified

Requirements - Candidate must possess an active state license by the start of the assignment. Experience in long-term care, including assessments, treatments, and procedures such as medication administration, ADL assistance, and wound care preferred.

Roles & Responsibilities - Perform patient assessments and treatments. Administer medications and notify the physician or nurse practitioner of pertinent information. Assist with activities of daily living (ADL) and ensure patient comfort. Provide care for specialized needs, including gastrostomy tubes, urinary catheters, nebulized treatments, wound vacs, CPAP, and tracheostomies. Participate in patient admissions and discharges. Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.

Compliance / Notes - Must arrive the Thursday before the start to attend an employee health appointment on Friday.
