Division Information

TheUS Oncology Network(The Network)is one of the largest community oncology networks in the country-supporting over 1,400 physicians across 600+ sites of care. Practice Enablement is a newlyestablishedfunction designed to power the next evolution of howThe Networkoperates.Itrepresents a strategic investment in howTheNetwork plans, prioritizes, and executes its most important work-embeddingdedicated operational support toenable precision in planning, consistency inexecution, and scalabilityacross practices.

Role Summary

This role serves as a key operational partner bridging strategic priorities with practice-level execution acrossThe US Oncology Network. Working alongside Regional SVPs, Finance Directors, Strategic Operations,and other cross-functional stakeholders,this position ensures that practice operating plans are built, maintained, and translated into coordinated action - connecting the right people, information, and resources at the right time.

This role blends strategic thinking, cross-functional collaboration, and operational project management. The focus is not on managing projects in isolation, but on enabling the infrastructure that allows regional teams and practices to plan proactively, execute consistently, and follow through on commitments.This is an individual contributor role with no direct reports, operating in a highly matrixed environmentwhile engaged with opportunities toworkwith many practices within an assigned region.If you're energized by fast-moving, matrixed environments and thrive when connecting people, priorities, and plans - this role was built for you.

Key Responsibilities

  • Strategic Planning & Alignment: Partner with practice management leaders and cross-functional stakeholders to build, maintain, and prioritize practice operating plans that reflect both network-wide goals and local needs.

  • Project & Initiative Management :Owntracking andcoordination ofactive initiatives within assigned practices. This includes developing and maintaining project plans with clear milestones, owners, and timelines,monitoringexecution progress, flagging dependencies, and escalating risks before they become blockers.

  • Intake & Prioritization : Receive and evaluate incoming requests, assessfitand urgency within existing plansin collaboration with pertinent stakeholders.

  • Cross-Functional Coordination: Act as the bridge between leadership and supporting functions (strategic operations,finance, technology, revenue cycle, etc.), ensuring alignment, clear communication, and smooth handoffs.

  • Stakeholder Communication :Prepare clear, actionable updates for leadership that reflect where things stand, what's at risk, and what needs attention.

  • Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunitiesto automate andoptimize workflows byleveragingthe latest tools and resources(AI, Project PlanningTools, CRMSystems).

  • Additional responsibilities asrequired.

Education & Minimum Requirements

  • Degree or equivalent and typically requires 7+ years of relevant experience.

  • Bachelor's degreeor equivalent practical experience. PMP, CAPM, or similar certification highly desired.

Critical Skills

  • 7+years of experience inbusinessoperations, project coordination, consulting, or healthcare services.

  • Demonstrated experience managing complex projects or workstreams with multiple stakeholders.

  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence and align diverse stakeholders.

  • Excellent organizational skills and proven ability to manage multiple projects concurrently.

  • Ability to manage ambiguity and adapt quickly to changing business needs.

  • Self-starter mindset with a bias toward action.

  • Proficiency with project tracking tools(e.g.,Asana, Smartsheet)and reporting workflows.

  • Proficiency inMSOfficesuite skills(Excel,Word,PowerPoint,Project, Visio,Outlook,Teams, Copilot,etc.).

Preferred Qualifications& Skills

  • Experience supporting or driving change management.

  • Comfort adopting new digital tools, including AI-assisted productivity capabilities, to improve efficiency and deliverable quality.

  • Healthcare services orpractice operationsexperience.

  • Familiarity with CRM platforms (Salesforce, Dynamics, or similar).

Working Environment

  • Ability to travel 15%.

  • This position offers a hybrid work arrangement based on recent updates to our in-office/workfromhome model. If located in DFW area, the selected candidate may be expected to work onsite at our Las Colinas office a minimum of two (2) days per week, with the remaining days worked remotely. Specific inoffice days may be designated according to team needs and business priorities.

We are proud to offer a competitive compensation package at McKesson as part of our Total Rewards. This is determined by several factors, including performance, experience and skills, equity, regular job market evaluations, and geographical markets. The pay range shown below is aligned with McKesson's pay philosophy, and pay will always be compliant with any applicable regulations. Our Base Pay Range for this position

$112,700 - $187,800
