Service and Installation Pipefitter – Cincinnati, OH As a part of our manufacturing group, you will be responsible for supporting production packaging and processing operations, sanitation, and participation in startup, changeover, and shutdown of operating equipment. Shift Hours 1st shift: 7 am to 5 pm Currently hiring for 1st shift, open to off‑shift options Ability and willingness to work overtime, any shift, days, nights, weekends, holidays Plant operates 24/7 Pay Production and/or Maintenance employees who work full time may earn $80,000+ in a year, inclusive of overtime.

Responsibilities Create high‑quality foods that are eaten every day, nationwide Use technology in a leading‑facility environment Work with high‑level operators on experienced teams Challenge yourself to get the job done right and gain skills for future opportunities Install, maintain, repair, and replace pumps, valves, actuators, regulators, dampeners, injectors, piping and other relevant equipment Weld carbon and stainless‑steel (stick, TIG, sanitary welding, brazing, soldering) Partner with vendors for fire suppression, boiler, HVAC, propane and natural gas systems maintenance Maintain and repair process system piping, compressed‑air, plumbing, chilled and city water systems, and other utility infrastructure Identify and troubleshoot mechanical issues Provide technical support and plant leadership for equipment troubleshooting and modifications Initiate and participate in root‑cause analysis Perform uptime and downtime preventative maintenance Participate in continuous improvement initiatives Assist in training new employees Qualifications Minimum of a high school education or GED 5+ years experience in a manufacturing/production environment (required) Experience in a manufacturing/production environment (preferred) Physical Requirements Lift up to 50 lbs Perform physical tasks for extended periods: standing, walking, climbing, bending, pushing, pulling, twisting Climb or work at heights using stairs, ladders, lifts, or platforms Wear protective clothing and equipment (safety shoes, face mask, safety glasses, hearing protection, hard hat, hair/beard net, gloves as required) Adhere to all grooming requirements for food manufacturing Work in hot, cold, noisy, dusty, wet environmental conditions Work around industrial high‑speed moving machinery Work with allergens present in food environment #J-18808-Ljbffr General Mills
