Job Summary


We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Picker to support warehouse operations. The role involves using RF scanners and pushcarts to pick, verify, pack, and prepare products for shipment in a temperature-controlled warehouse environment.


Key Responsibilities

• Use an RF scanner and pushcart to pick products from shelves and place them into containers.
• Work in ambient, cooler, and freezer storage areas; associates may rotate between departments based on business needs.
• Verify package contents and add ice, dunnage, gel packs, and other required materials before sealing containers.
• Place completed containers on the shipping line.
• Complete inventory issue forms when product locations are incorrect or unavailable.
• Work with the inventory team to identify correct product locations.
• Perform housekeeping and recycling/track pickup duties as needed.
• Assist with training other employees.
• Follow all health and safety regulations and maintain a clean, safe, and orderly warehouse.
• Maintain regular attendance and punctuality.
• Wear required PPE, including safety vest, steel-toed shoes, body harness, gloves, and other applicable equipment.
• Be willing to work overtime with little or same-day notice.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent; or
• 2+ years of previous warehouse or similar industry experience in lieu of education.
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to work in a temperature-controlled warehouse environment.
• Ability to work safely while following established procedures .

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience in a cold-chain environment.
• Basic computer and math skills.
• Previous distribution or warehouse experience.

Work Environment

• Warehouse environment requiring prolonged standing and walking.
• Ability to work across three temperature zones:
  • Ambient
  • Cooler: Approximately 40°F
  • Freezer: Approximately -20°F
• Required use of PPE based on job duties.
• Overtime may be required with little or same-day notice.
