What You'll DoAs a Commercial HVAC Sheet Metal Worker, you will:
- Fabricate and install commercial HVAC ductwork and sheet metal systems
- Read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and shop drawings
- Measure, cut, bend, and assemble sheet metal with precision
- Install air distribution systems, ventilation equipment, dampers, and HVAC components
- Perform modifications, repairs, and troubleshooting on existing systems
- Coordinate with foremen, project managers, and other construction trades
Required Qualifications
- Journey-Level Sheet Metal Worker certification or equivalent experience
- 4+ years of commercial HVAC sheet metal installation experience
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and construction drawings
- Knowledge of commercial HVAC systems, duct installation, and fabrication
- Strong commitment to safety and quality workmanship
- Ability to lift 75+ pounds and work on active commercial construction sites
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation preferred
Experience with any of the following is a plus:
- OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 Certification
- Welding and fabrication
- BIM or advanced layout technology
