Job Details Location: Schenectady, NY 12308 Position Type: Full Time Salary Range: $18.75 - $24.30 hourly (based on verifiable direct care experience; reflects 20 years of experience) Shift: Any; Residential - Schenectady-Awake Overnight Available Shift Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday from 11pm-9am; 40 hours/week; this position is benefit eligible, and full time. Positive and encouraging with those they support. Professional. Has patience and a positive attitude. Strong desire to help others. Enjoys teamwork. Responsibilities What does a Direct Support Professional do in a residential setting? Assist residents in activities such as cooking, doing laundry, running errands, and teaching them how to do things on their own. Job duties may include: Taking individuals to appointments and activities. Writing notes as needed. Helping individuals with tasks such as cooking, cleaning, showering, toileting, shopping, and managing money. Other duties as needed.
