Law Clerk

A NYC law firm (ww.mtuslaw.com) is seeking a full-time bilingual (Chinese/English) Business Immigration Law Clerk. Candidates interested in immigration law are encouraged to apply. Job Duties: Under supervision of attorney, prepare immigration applications/petitions, draft government forms and correspondences, including supporting letters, response to Requests for Evidence (RFEs), Audit Responses, Motions and other government requests. Conduct research on procedural and legal updates, as needed. Manage client relations, communicate regularly with clients regarding required documentation, case status and client inquiries, and monitor case status from initiation to approval. Perform administrative duties, data entry, scanning, receiving calls for the attorneys, coordinating/scheduling meetings and client consultations; managing case files and case management databases, etc. Other tasks assigned by attorney Requirements: LLM or JD degree. If you have years of experience working in business immigration field, a law degree is not required. Must be able to communicate with clients in both Mandarin and English. Must be detail-oriented and a fast learner and have multitasking skills.
