Job Description
The Production Team Leader for the 2nd Shift (5pm-1:30am) plays a critical role in overseeing evening production operations, ensuring process consistency and product quality. This leadership position involves direct supervision of 5-10 team members with a focus on maintaining established production processes while coordinating shift activities and monitoring team performance.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate team activities during the 2nd shift
- Ensure adherence to quality standards and production processes
- Manage performance reporting and track team productivity
- Maintain effective communication within the team and across shifts
- Provide guidance and support to team members to meet production goals
- Support occasional overtime requests and shift flexibility
Preferred Qualifications
- Entry-level experience in production or manufacturing
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Team leadership skills
- Knowledge of quality control practices
- Strong problem-solving abilities
- Effective communication skills
