Position Details

• Contract Length: 13 Weeks
• Schedule: Days | Monday–Friday | 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
• 24/7 Leadership Accountability
• Weekend Requirement: As needed (not to exceed one weekend shift per month)

Travel Pay Package

• Weekly Gross: $3,405
• Weekly Taxable: $1,200
• Weekly Non-Taxable Stipend: $2,205

Local Pay Package

• $72/hour (local candidates within 75 miles)

Minimum Qualifications

• Active Illinois RN License
• BSN Required
• BLS Certification
• NRP Certification
• Minimum 5 Years of NICU Experience
• Minimum 2 Years of Leadership Experience as a Supervisor or Charge Nurse
• Cerner Experience Required

Preferred Qualifications

• Master's Degree in Nursing
• Bilingual Skills

Position Overview

This leadership role oversees daily operations, patient care quality, staffing, budgeting, scheduling, policy development, and regulatory compliance for the NICU, PICU, and Pediatric units. The Nurse Manager works closely with neonatologists, pediatric specialists, and interdisciplinary teams to ensure exceptional care for critically ill neonatal and pediatric patients while supporting staff development and operational excellence.
