Pediatrix Medical Group is seeking an experienced, Board Certified Neonatologist for a per diem opportunity at Wellington Regional Medical Center in Wellington, FL. This role involves providing 24/7 in-house coverage within a 25-bed Level III NICU, focusing on evidence-based care for neonates. The position offers a chance to collaborate with a multidisciplinary team in a supportive environment.

- Staffing Model: 4.5 Neonatologists providing 24/7 in-house coverage
- 2.3 mid-level providers covering NICU during the day
- 1.5 mid-level providers covering the newborn nursery during daytime hours
- Wellington Regional Medical Center is a 233-bed acute care hospital
- 25-bed Level III NICU
- Focus on evidence-based protocols, neonatologist-attended high-risk deliveries, and specialized care for 23-30 week premature infants
Responsibilities
- Care for full-term and late preterm infants in the newborn nursery
- Attend high-risk deliveries
- Oversee daily responsibilities in the nursery
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver evidence-based care
