Civil Engineer

Our client (Engineering and Design services provider to Telecommunications industry) is seeking full-time Civil (Office) Engineer (Fiber optic cable design and installation projects)in Austin, TX and Newark, NJ . Requirements: 3-8 years of experience required Registered Pr ofessional Civil Engineer in the state preferred B.S. degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management, MS preferred Prior construction experience is a plus. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Performing constructability reviews of telecom projects Developing and reviewing project schedules to identify constructability /design issues Calculate quantities of utility conduits and fiber optic cables Assist Project Engineer with change orders, RFI's submittals, response letters to the contractor, and maintain project logs Review progress schedules and assist in scheduling. Prepare and maintain project records(monthly estimates, weekly project status reports).
