We have an R&D Lab Supervisor opportunity at Resin Lab, LLC, a subsidiary in Germantown, WI. This is a 100% on-site / in-office role. As an R&D Lab Supervisor you will oversee daily laboratory operations, supervise staff, and ensure quality assurance and quality control processes are followed. You will also oversee the collection analysis, interpretation of lab results, and manage the upkeep and maintenance of laboratory equipment. Responsibilities Maintain the R&D Lab in a clean, organized, and compliant state in alignment with company standards. Oversee scheduling, manage supplies and chemical inventory, and handle waste identification and disposal; coordinate preventive maintenance, calibration, and verification of all laboratory equipment. Train new team members on test methods, instrumentation, equipment, and data integrity; document and maintain training records. Assist the Product Development team with certification-related tasks such as preparation and pre-testing of UL material specimens. Develop and document new test methods and SOPs, and proactively update existing procedures when improvements or clarifications add value. Assign employee tasks, provide work direction and feedback; may participate in performance reviews, new hire interviews, and disciplinary actions. Qualifications 3+ years of professional related work experience. 0-1 year in a supervisory role. Bachelor's degree in Chemistry or a related field is required. Excellent customer service skills and ability to manage difficult or emotional customer situations. Track record of responding promptly to customer needs and soliciting feedback to improve service. Excellent technical skills and commitment to continuous training and development. Observes safety and security procedures; reports potentially unsafe conditions.
