Experienced Registered Nurse-Interventional Radiology-40 Hours/Days-Detroit Main Campus At Henry Ford Hospital, all nurses strive to provide exceptional patient care every day. They are encouraged to participate in quality assurance activities, research and shared governance to make a difference in the care given to patients and families. Henry Ford Nursing uses evidence-based practice, professional practice standards and the Henry Ford Hospital Professional Nurse Practice Model to drive nursing practice. Provides leadership in the coordination and delivery of quality compassionate patient care. Utilizes the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation, to provide, delegate, supervise and document care and teaching of patients and family. Effectively communicates pertinent patient/family information to health care team. Participates in finding solutions for variances from patient goals and ensures implementation of solutions. EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

Graduation from an accredited school of nursing; BSN preferred. 2 years’ experience as RN in Emergency Department or ICU. Clinical knowledge and analytical abilities necessary to formulate effective nursing care plans. Ability to perform a wide variety of professional nursing services. Ability to effectively communicate with patients, families, and hospital personnel.

CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSURES REQUIRED:

Current licensure by the Michigan State Board of Nursing.
