Job Title: PCU RN for Float Pool Profession: Nursing Specialty: Progressive Care Unit Duration: Per Diem Shift: Varies Hours per Shift: Varies Experience: Minimum of 2 years in a similar sized facility License: RN Certifications: BLS, ACLS Must-Have: - Minimum of 2 years experience in a similar sized facility - BLS and ACLS certifications Description: This position requires floating to all Progressive Care Unit (PCU) and Intermediate Care Unit (IMCU) floors with a cardiac population. The nurse-to-patient ratio is 1:3-4. Care for patients with STEMI, NSTEMI, and chest pain. Administer cardiac drips such as Milrinone, Dobutamine, and pressors. May be assigned to telemetry beds in the same unit with lower acuity levels. Familiarity with EPIC EMR is required. Minimal requested time off is expected.
