Make a meaningful impact as a Special Education Teacher working with K-6th grade students on a contract assignment for the upcoming school year. Provide specialized instructional support within a single school building, guiding a manageable caseload of 15-18 students. The schedule runs Monday through Friday from 7:30 AM to 3:30 PM, with some flexibility to accommodate your needs. The assignment begins late August 2026 and continues through May 2027, giving you the opportunity to help students grow over the course of a full academic year.

Qualifications and Experience:
• Active Special Education teaching degree
• Experience or strong interest in working with grades K–6
• Ability to manage and support an educational caseload (15–18 students)
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Commitment to fostering an inclusive and supportive learning environment
• Out-of-state license welcomed, provided requirements are met

Responsibilities:
• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
• Adapt lessons to meet diverse learner needs
• Foster a positive, encouraging classroom atmosphere
• Collaborate with staff, support teams, and families
• Track student progress and maintain detailed records
