Initial placement within the salary range is based on an individual's relevant knowledge, skills, and experience. As a Banquet Cook , you will:
Pay: $18.00 per hour | Shift: Varies based on event schedules
- Reports to Sous Chef at start of shift to receive instruction as to daily specials and menu changes.
- Supervises and directs line staff in absence of Sous Chef. Prepares recipe per standardized recipes and production sheets.
- Prepares plate menu items, as ordered, per specifications on hot food production line with strict attention to detail, speed, and accuracy.
- Assists in other areas of kitchen as instructed by Sous Chef.
- At completion of service, puts all perishable foods in covered containers and refrigerates.
- Cleans station and reports to Sous Chef for closing instructions.
- Leads completion of daily tasks within the department or work unit.

- Must be a minimum of 18 years of age .
- Applicants should have professional experience in banquets, institutional kitchens, or similar environment, with a focus on executing bulk preparation and ability to adhere to standardized recipes
- Must be able to read and write in English and have good verbal communication skills.
- Physically mobile with reasonable accommodations including ability to push, pull, carry, and lift up to 25 lbs., and the ability to push, pull, reach, bend, twist, stoop, stack, crouch, kneel, and balance when performing job duties in varying work areas such as confined spaces.
