Contract | Night Shift (6:30 PM – 7:00 AM) | Onsite | Block scheduling is not guaranteed and may vary

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a high-acuity Emergency Department serving a diverse patient population including newborns, pediatrics, adults, and geriatric patients
• Manage and treat common ED diagnoses including stroke, sepsis, trauma, MI, cardiac arrest, and respiratory failure
• Operate specialty equipment including Rapid Infusor and Arctic Sun as needed
• Float to other units as required to support staffing needs
• Charge nurse capability highly preferred — may be expected to take on charge responsibilities
• Document and maintain accurate patient records using EPIC EMR

Required Qualifications

• Active, unencumbered RN license in the state of New York (verified via NURSYS)
• Minimum 2+ years of Emergency Department experience, including some pediatric (PEDS) experience
• Prior travel nursing experience required
• Current AHA BLS and ACLS certifications required and must be in hand at time of submission
• PALS , NIHSS , and TNCC certifications required and must be in hand at time of submission
• Proficiency with EPIC EMR required
• Locals are welcome to apply (local rate applies for candidates residing within 75 miles of the facility)

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Charge nurse experience in an Emergency Department setting
• Experience managing high-acuity cases such as trauma, cardiac arrest, and stroke
• Familiarity with specialty equipment including Rapid Infusor and Arctic Sun
• Experience in a large, multi-zone ED environment (acute, trauma, psych, CDU, triage)
