CarFido is an AI-powered vehicle ownership platform that helps everyday drivers understand vehicle problems, evaluate their options, and connect with trusted repair shops—without needing to be a mechanic. Drivers gain clarity and confidence. Repair shops receive better-prepared customers whose vehicle details, symptoms, and supporting information are already organized. After beginning our field validation in Jacksonville, Florida, we’re expanding into new markets—and looking for people who can build CarFido’s local presence from the ground up. The Role This is a hands-on field marketing and customer-development role. Your primary responsibility will be visiting independent repair shops, speaking with owners and service managers, introducing CarFido, and securing interest in offering it to their customers. You’ll also recruit drivers at car meets, parts stores, and local events. You won’t simply distribute flyers. You’ll help us determine whether our shop-partnership model works in your market while capturing the feedback that shapes our product and go-to-market strategy. This role is ideal for someone who can confidently walk into a business cold, speak credibly about cars, and would rather work in the field than behind a desk. What You’ll Do Identify and visit independent repair shops in your market Reach owners and service managers and pitch the CarFido partnership Explain what participation involves and hand qualified leads to the Product Lead for onboarding Recruit drivers at car meets, parts stores, and community events Help drivers sign up, add a vehicle, and complete onboarding Distribute CarFido rack cards, flyers, and business cards Document every visit and event, including contacts, feedback, objections, and follow-up opportunities Report market insights, including commonly used shop software and local purchasing behavior Feed real customer questions and objections into our messaging and product roadmap What We’re Looking For Based in—or highly familiar with—one of our target markets Comfortable approaching strangers and business owners cold Genuinely interested in cars; mechanical expertise is not required Able to explain a new product clearly and naturally in about 60 seconds Self-directed, dependable, and comfortable working independently Organized and consistent about documenting field activity Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in marketing, business, communications, entrepreneurship, or a related field—or equivalent practical experience Previous sales, door-to-door, promotional, event, or customer-facing experience is a strong plus.
