ARK Hospitality is seeking a motivated, relationship-driven Sales Manager to support revenue growth and business development for Everhome Suites Yuma East I-8 .

This position is designed for an ambitious sales professional who wants to grow into a future Director of Sales role. While prior hotel sales experience is preferred, ARK Hospitality is committed to developing, coaching, and supporting the right candidate through structured training, mentorship, and hands-on learning opportunities.

As Sales Manager, you will work closely with the General Manager, Regional Director of Sales, and property leadership team to develop local business relationships, identify new opportunities, increase occupancy, and grow long-term extended-stay revenue. This role combines prospecting, relationship-building, community involvement, account management, and hotel sales strategy.

• Develop new business opportunities throughout the Yuma market through direct sales activity, networking, community involvement, and relationship-building.
  
• Build partnerships with military, government, healthcare, education, agriculture, construction, logistics, relocation, manufacturing, and project-based organizations.
  
• Conduct outside sales calls, site visits, networking meetings, property tours, and presentations.
  
• Generate leads and identify opportunities for long-term room-night production.
  
• Prospect new business through phone calls, email campaigns, in-person visits, referrals, and local networking events.
  
• Maintain and grow existing accounts through proactive relationship management and regular follow-up.
  
• Support the negotiation and management of local negotiated-rate agreements and extended-stay contracts.
  
• Collaborate with the General Manager and Regional Director of Sales to develop and execute market-specific sales strategies.
  
• Respond to inquiries, requests for proposals (RFPs), and hotel sales opportunities in a timely and professional manner.
  
• Maintain accurate sales activity, account notes, and pipeline information within the CRM system.
  
• Monitor production from existing accounts and identify opportunities for growth.
  
• Assist with weekly, monthly, and quarterly sales reporting and forecasting activities.
  
• Develop a working understanding of occupancy, ADR, RevPAR, and overall hotel performance metrics.
  
• Participate in Chamber of Commerce events, military community programs, business associations, and local networking opportunities.
  
• Conduct professional hotel tours and showcase Everhome Suites' amenities and long-term stay advantages.
  
• Support the ARK Hospitality mission by building relationships that positively impact guests, employees, partners, and owners.
  

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of professional sales, business development, account management, recruiting, customer success, staffing, hospitality, or relationship-management experience.
  
• Strong desire to develop a long-term career in hotel sales and hospitality leadership.
  
• Excellent communication, presentation, relationship-building, and follow-up skills.
  
• Ability to build trust and establish relationships with business owners, decision-makers, and community partners.
  
• Proven ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities and deadlines.
  
• Highly motivated, goal-oriented, and results-driven.
  
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  
• Comfortable conducting cold calls, prospecting, networking, and outside sales activity.
  
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
  
• Ability to learn CRM systems, sales tracking platforms, and hotel sales software.
  
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
  
• Ability to travel throughout the Yuma market for business-development activities.
  

• Hotel sales experience.
  
• Extended-stay hotel experience.
  
• Experience working with military, government, construction, healthcare, logistics, agriculture, manufacturing, education, or relocation accounts.
  
• Previous experience in hospitality, lodging, staffing, recruiting, business development, customer success, or account management.
  
• Existing relationships within the Yuma business community.
  
• Familiarity with Choice Hotels, Everhome Suites, WoodSpring Suites, MainStay Suites, Residence Inn, Home2 Suites, Homewood Suites, TownePlace Suites, Staybridge Suites, or Candlewood Suites.
  
• Working knowledge of occupancy, ADR, RevPAR, and hotel revenue fundamentals.
  
• Desire to advance into future Director of Sales leadership opportunities.
