Accounting Clerk

Job Description LHH Recruitment Solutions is supporting our client located in Detroit, MI. Are you an experienced & well-rounded Accounting Clerk? Accounting Clerk Responsibilities Processing accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions Match, batch and code invoices Research and resolve invoice discrepancies Set invoices up for payment, check for proper approval, and process checks Monitor accounts to ensure timely payments Preparing invoices and posting transactions Process customer payments and refunds Assist with month end close Other duties and ad hoc projects as assigned Qualifications & Requirements 2+ years of general accounting experience Experience with Sage & QuickBooks Accounting Software Ability to resolve discrepancies Strong capability to work independently Solid knowledge of MS Excel Program Associates Degree or Bachelor’s Degree a plus Specifics Contract-to-Hire Compensation between $20-24/hr. all dependent on experience Full time hours: Monday – Friday from 8:30am – 5:00pm On-site Healthcare benefits available Other career opportunities available at: Pay Details: $20.00 to $24.00 per hour Search managed by: Tracey Callahan Benefit offerings available for our associates include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, additional voluntary benefits, EAP program, commuter benefits and a 401K plan. medical dental vision life insurance short-term disability additional voluntary benefits EAP program commuter benefits 401K plan Paid Sick Leave or any other paid leave required by Federal, State, or local law, as well as Holiday pay where applicable.
