Quality Control Inspector

Job Title: Quality Control Inspector We are seeking a Mechanical Quality Control Technician for a reputable electronic manufacturing company in Plano. This is a 12-month contract position with opportunities for overtime. The role requires a detail-oriented individual who will perform quality control inspections, checks, and tests during product manufacturing. Responsibilities Reading blueprints and specifications. Monitoring operations to ensure they meet production standards. Recommending adjustments to the assembly or production process. Inspecting, testing, or measuring materials or products being produced. Measuring products with rulers, calipers, gauges, or micrometers. Operating inspection equipment. Accepting or rejecting finished items. Removing all products and materials that fail to meet specifications. Reporting inspection and testing data. Essential Skills 1-3 years of QC/inspection experience. Proven experience as a QC Inspector or similar position. Familiarity with precision measurement tools. Ability to read manufacturing drawings and symbols. Strong math skills for data reporting, measuring, calibrating, and calculating specifications. Ability to enter data into ERP systems, specifically using Costpoint. High school diploma. Additional Skills & Qualifications Attention to detail and accuracy in record-keeping. Physical strength to lift packages by hand. Reliability and ability to work independently. Availability to work overtime as needed. Must be a US Citizen to meet ITAR requirements. Work Environment The position is in a climate-controlled electronic manufacturing facility, requiring standing most of the day with some squatting and sitting. The role includes lifting up to 25 pounds a few times per day and occasionally up to 50 pounds. The team is small, with only two people in the quality group working under a quality lead who handles most of the paperwork. Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Plano, TX.
