Senior Research Associate

We are a stealth company developing novel treatments for respiratory diseases caused by infectious disease. You are a diligent, high-energy scientist with experience and interest in molecular and cell biology looking to get experience working in biotech with a passion for bringing important and life-saving treatments to patients. Responsibilities Execute and optimize molecular biology experiments involving nucleic acids and proteins. Perform nucleic acid-based assays including DNA/RNA extraction, PCR, cloning, and sequencing. Conduct protein-focused assays such as expression, quantification, and characterization. Maintain mammalian cell cultures, including routine passaging, cryopreservation, and cell-based experimental workflows. Carry out virological workflows, including viral propagation and titration. Assist in troubleshooting experimental challenges and contribute to method development and process improvements. Analyze and interpret experimental data and communicate findings to team members. Accurately document experimental procedures, results, and observations in electronic laboratory notebooks. Maintain laboratory organization, inventory, and compliance with safety protocols. Collaborate effectively with cross‑functional teams to support project goals and timelines. Bachelor's degree in Molecular Biology, Cell Biology, Biochemistry, Biotechnology, Immunology, or a related life science field. 2–5 years of relevant industry or academic laboratory experience. Proficiency in working with mammalian cell lines; demonstrated experience in aseptic technique. Familiarity with BSL2(+) practices, including viruses and patient samples. Hands‑on experience with molecular biology techniques involving nucleic acid and protein endpoints.
