Supervise, coordinate, and review work of engineers, technicians, and designers. Manage projects, oversee, delegate tasks, and engage in design of projects. Present projects to Boards and Commissions for approval. Work with regulatory agencies for project approvals. Prepare agreements including scope, schedule, work plan, fees, and monitor financial performance of projects. Participate in career path planning and development, performance plans, mentoring, and resource sharing for supervised team members. Cultivate personal business relationships and seek opportunities for cross‑selling to enhance and expand existing client relationships during and after projects. Qualifications BS in an engineering field required (Civil Engineering preferred). Advanced degree in the area of work specialization is desirable. Registration as a Professional Engineer required. Minimum of 10 years of related industry experience required; project management experience preferred. Extensive knowledge of the principles and practices relating to appropriate discipline. Progressive ability, capacity, and aptitude in administration to plan, organize, supervise, and coordinate technical work and to obtain cooperation from others. Effective manager of people with the ability to inspire, lead, communicate, support, and mentor. Sound mathematical skills required. Working knowledge of software such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and/or Carlson HydroCAD required. Excellent verbal and written communication skills required. Strong leadership potential with a desire to develop into a management position. Valid driver’s license & reliable transportation required.
