Mammography Technologist

Role: Mammography Technologist responsible for performing mammography and radiographic procedures in healthcare centers. Key Responsibilities Review patient data, interpret requisitions, and execute imaging protocols accurately. Ensure infection control and adherence to administrative policies, including patient rights and HIPAA. Assist patients with positioning, garment changes, and comfort during examinations. Operate imaging equipment safely, perform regular equipment checks, and report malfunctions. Maintain accurate records within PACS/RIS, document patient history, and ensure image quality. Participate in quality assurance programs, uphold regulatory standards, and maintain exam room readiness. Engage in ongoing professional development, maintain licensure and credentials, and adhere to workplace policies. Qualifications & Skills Current NY State Radiologic Technologist license and ARRT (M) certification. Minimum of 2 years of experience in mammography or radiography. Proficiency with GE PACS and EPIC systems. Strong understanding of MQSA/FDA quality standards and confidentiality policies. #J-18808-Ljbffr
